A�real post from me Iapos;m moving up in the world

So this weekend I�went home. Super fun, Drew and Emily came home too.�My brother was supposed to pick me up around 4, but traffic from here to State was apparently horrible, so he didnapos;t get here until around 7. I�had some lovely, homemade stew when we got home. I forgot how horrible dorm food was until I�started eating real food again XD Round 11:30, we all decided cake was needed. Unfortunately, we only had a box of white cake mix (gross) and no frosting. So mum got out her "cake doctor"�book and added a bunch of stuff to the mix to make it almost like a yellow cake. We found two jars of lemon curd and were going to use that for filling with just powdered sugar on top, but both of them turned out to be way past their expiration dates. So mom got out her book again and made lemon curd from scratch. And since we had already made a mess, and the book was still out, she made some buttercream frosting to go on it. It was quite possibly the most delicious cake ever. Emily and I ended up staying up until 5:30 watching a show on her computer.

On Saturday, we went to Robinetteapos;s. I�now have a dozen donuts and half a gallon of apple cider in my fridge. Mmmm. Make that a dozen minus one. After that, I�pretty much slept all day. We went to the Melting Pot for dinner, which wast pretty good, although they were pretty chintzy on dessert.�Afterwords, we went to Celebration and saw�Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was surprisingly good. Funny too. You guys should go see it.�Got home and�watched SNL while trying to finish�Emilyapos;s halloween costume�and went to bed much earlier than on Friday.

Then today (well, now itapos;s�yesterday)�I�ate some more cake as well as some more stew and donuts. All were fabulous. I�found all the stuff� I�needed and after several delays, my mom and I�left with Lucy to go back to WMU. We stopped at the Target by campus and stocked me up on food and halloween candy. And now I�am here.

On a side note, what was up with the Michigan Football teams this weekend?�State, Michigan, and WMU all lost. All of them were pretty big games too.�Grr... We were playing CMU too.. Better luck next week eh?
